E PLURIBUS UNUM
=
OUT OF MANY -- ONE

President Eisenhower had (in my personal opinion)
the extreme audacity to replace
our beautiful, centuries-old maxim
E PLURIBUS UNUM
with his own personal motto:
"In God We Trust"
which now adorns all of our coins
all of our paper moneys
and who knows what else!

Why was he permitted to do that?
And what's to prevent us now
from re-instating our original maxim
that was created by America's founding fathers
and which describes so perfectly
the unprecedented achievement of
the only melting-pot nation
on earth?
